Booking Page Glossary
Time Zone
Your time zone is listed in the top right corner of your App. It will update automatically when you open your App. If it is incorrect then you should quit and reopen the App. If it still isn't correct then please email us at teacher-support@classup.com
24 Hour Booking:
If your 24 Hour Booking is toggled on then you can be booked within your availability with as little as 2 hours notice. If your 24 hour booking is turned off you will be given a minimum of 24 hours within your availabilit
Accept More Students:
If you want to be booked for trial classes the Accept More Students button must be toggled on. If you are happy with your amount of long term students then you can toggle off the Accept More Students button, but leave your availability open so that your long term students and you can reschedule a class if needed.
Weekly Recurring Times:
Weekly recurring times are 1 hour time slots that you are available for the next 12 weeks. To make sure you will be able to work with a student long term after a trial class you MUST have weekly recurring times to be booked for trial classes.
One Time Only Availability
One Time Only availability is any extra availability you have on top of your weekly recurring class times. You won't be booked for trial classes if you only have one time only time slots open.
Closed Time Slots
Any white time slots are closed and can't be booked for trial or long term classes.
Booked Trial Classes
When a trial class is booked they will appear in a green class time with trial in the top right corner.
Opening and Closing Your Availability
Opening Time Slots
1. Select the time slot or the group of time slots
2. Select the type of time slot you want to open either weekly recurring or one time only time slots.
Closing Time Slots
1. Select the time slot of the group of time slots you want to close
2. Select Close
3. You can only close groups of time slots that are the same type of time slot

How can I increase my chances of being booked with more students?

Successful teachers are generally available for at least 15 time slots per week (60 time slots per month) and have completed ClassUp assessments for all the subjects they would like to teach. Please make sure you also have availability open in our peak times: Mon-Fri 3 pm - 8 pm, Sat & Sun 8 am - 12 pm, 3 pm - 8 pm.

How much notice will I receive when booked with a class?

All classes will be booked by students at least 24 hours prior to the class start time unless you toggle on the 24hr booking function in the ClassUp App. By toggling on the “24H Booking” function in the ClassUp App, teachers agree to be booked at any time up to 2 hours before the class start time.
